Through his Telegram channel, the Vice President of International Affairs of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Rander Peña, visited the Kaysone Phomvihan Museum located in the city of Vientiane, Laos.
“We visited this sacred site of Laotian politics, to show our honors and respects to the fundamental leader of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and his Homeland, honor and glory to Kaysone Phomvihan,” he said.
He also stated that this meeting takes place on the same date that commemorates 200 years of the heroic Battle of Ayacucho, “a historic and immortal day in Latin American history.”
Peña arrived in the city of Vientiane, Laos, to make an official working visit and to reaffirm ties of friendship with the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, through Bolivarian People's Diplomacy, making the multipolar and pluricentric world a reality.
During this meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the United Socialist Party of Venezuela and the Popular Democratic Party of Laos, to promote interparty cooperation, in which it was agreed to create a mechanism for political consultation between the two political organizations.
