Venezuelan divers will participate in the World Swimming Championships (+date)

From July 25 to August 3, the Venezuelan ornamental jumping team will participate in the 2025 World Swimming Championships in Singapore.

The Venezuelan representation is made up of the divers Elizabeth Pérez, with experience in two Pan American Games; Jesús González, silver medalist in three-meter trampoline jumping at the 2024 BRICS Games; and Juan Travieso, a continental multi-medalist.

Pérez will compete in the women's preliminary round, while González and Travieso will participate on Saturday 26th and Wednesday 30th in the trampoline modality of one meter and three meters respectively. In addition, the duo formed by González and Pérez will compete in the mixed team event on a 3 and 10 meter platform, according to a press release from the Ministry of Popular Power for Sports.

Venezuela will close its participation on August 1st, with González on the 10-meter platform. The competition will serve as a blank spot for Venezuelan athletes, will allow them to score points in the international ranking and will validate marks, with a view to the formation of the national team that will participate in the Lima-Ayacucho 2025 Bolivarian Games, scheduled from November 22 to December 7.
