Venezuelan flag bearers who will participate in the Junior Pan American Games in Paraguay and the Chengdu World Games

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, led this Tuesday the flag ceremony for the Venezuelan athletes who will participate in the Junior Pan American Games, which will be held from August 9 to 23 in Asunción, Paraguay.

“You who are leaving today for the II Junior Pan American Games are going to be in 31 disciplines demonstrating all the expertise that Venezuelan athletes have, all our performance, our physical and intellectual integrity to face a competition,” Rodríguez said.

This will be the second edition of the Junior Pan American Games, an international multi-sport event for athletes aged 12 to 22 from the 41 National Olympic Committees that are members of the Pan American Sports Organization.

In addition, the Vice President championed the Venezuelans who will represent the country at the X World Games in Chengdu, China, where more than 100 countries will participate.

“Now feel like winners, go with that peace of mind of greatness and go with faith, but above all with the faith yourselves that you are ready to take on these second Junior Pan American Games and these twelfth World Games in Chengdu,” he said.
