Venezuelan Foreign Ministry strongly rejects attempted coup d'etat in Bolivia

The minister of popular power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, published a statement on behalf of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, on the social network X , rejecting the attempted coup against the elected government of the Plurinational State of Bolivia.

It also calls on the international community, especially the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), to mobilize and repudiate these actions that a fascist regime is trying to impose against the country.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela condemns and rejects in the strongest possible way the reckless coup attempt against the elected government of the Plurinational State of Bolivia headed by Luis Arce Catacora, executed by some traitor military units in La Paz today,” reads X.
