Venezuelan modern pentathlon wins silver at the South American event held in Brazil

The Creole modern pentathlon team in the South American and Pan-American Modern Pentathlon Championships held in the city of Resende, Brazil won four silver medals.
The silver medals came through the great participation of the men's team made up of; Albert Rivas, Rainer Arias and Yicxson Pérez; and also the mixed relay, Osmaidy Arias and Albert Arias. At the international event, Venezuelan teams had to compete in Swimming, Athletics, Fencing and Obstacle Course events that tested the athletes' physical abilities.
In this way, Venezuelan athletes continue to make history by
achieving important results for the modern Venezuelan pentathlon, said a press release from the Ministry of People's Power for Sports.
