In the regular session this Thursday, the parliamentarians of the National Assembly (AN) expressed solidarity with President Bashar al-Asad and the people of Syria.
The issue was raised, at an information point, by Deputy Anuar Younese Maali (PSUV/Zulia), who reported that a group of terrorists is entering Syria to kill civilians, in various sectors of the territory.
He believes that this shows that they want to overthrow the democratic government of Bashar al-Assad, who has been fighting for the freedom of his people for more than 10 years.
He indicated that the imperial nations of the West, led by the United States government, finance armed groups to destabilize the Syrian State, and thus seize oil.
Stifling the economy
They are cruelly killing Syrian soldiers to show strength and spread fear among the military, and he added that the Americans have kidnapped more than 400,000 barrels of oil a day from the Syrian people.
He warned that the illegal extraction of non-renewable resources, sequestering fertile land for wheat planting, the electricity system and gas pipelines, has resulted in the suffocation and financial hanging of the economy, which has affected the development of the Arab nation.
He reported that Syria is in third place in the world with 1,359 sanctions and unilateral coercive measures, created by the US government, that harm the Syrian family. Faced with the situation, parliamentarian Anuar Younese asked to reject imperial actions and to support the Syrian government chaired by the first president Bashar al-Asad.
