The Venezuelan people are mobilizing this Saturday in solidarity with Palestine and Lebanon, in a rally that will take place in the Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Park at 9:00 in the morning, and then mobilize to the headquarters of the United Nations. In this regard, the coordinator of the Platform for Solidarity with Palestine, Hindu Anderi, stated that they will raise their voices “against genocide, out of respect for the life of Palestinians, of the people of Lebanon”.
The Palestinian ambassador to Venezuela, Fadi Alzaben, stressed that President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, “was one of the first leaders in the world to send a humanitarian aid plane to the Gaza Strip to alleviate the suffering of our people.”
This was announced by the Palestinian diplomat in statements to the media after an activity at the headquarters of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, in which he expressed his gratitude to Venezuela and the Bolivarian Revolution, “for not leaving us alone, we always feel accompanied; thanks to the unconditional support of the government and the Bolivarian people.”
The national Government has criticized the inaction shown by the United Nations Security Council to prevent Israeli attacks on Gaza and Lebanon, which has left more than 41,000 people dead.
