The Venezuelan Football Team rose two places in the FIFA ranking despite participating in not participating in the 2026 World Cup.
Vinotinto was favored by the negative results of some world cup teams and went from 49th place in June to 47th, after the loss of positions in the Czech Republic and Tunisia.
Among the national teams that make it to life in Conmebol, Venezuela is in seventh place.
Spain, world champion after its victory in the final against Argentina 1-0, returned to the top of the FIFA Ranking for the first time since April 2026.
For its part, Argentina fell to second and Brazil rose to fifth and Colombia to eleventh.
