Venezuelan youth continue to visit each other from house to house with each member of the community, of each Circuit and Community Council of the country, with the purpose of inviting them to participate massively in the democratic process of the coming July 27.
The Minister of Popular Power for Youth, Sergio Lotartaro indicated in a telephone contact on Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), he assured that from the age of 15 they will have the opportunity to choose between the seven most voted projects in the more than 40,000 assemblies held in the Community Councils, located throughout the country.
He also highlighted that among the projects nominated with the highest number of votes are those related to sports and cultural promotion, with 39 percent, followed by those corresponding to the economic sector and production, with 26 percent, and the third place is occupied by proposals inherent to science, technology and ecosocialism.
Lotartaro indicated that “the topic of infocenters predominates in these proposals, as well as training in Artificial Intelligence. Youth want to take hold of technologies.”
In this context, the minister asserted that in this last week of the campaign, more young people have joined to encourage the electoral population to participate in this Popular Consultation. “We are strongly preparing for them to learn about the seven youth projects.”
