Venezuelans won silver and bronze in the Pan-American Road Cycling Championship in Colombia

Venezuelan long-distance runners Jennifer Lagos and Andrés López won silver and bronze, respectively, in the Pan-American Road Cycling Championship, held in Montería, Colombia.

In the women's category, Jennifer Lagos, in the 67-kilometer youth road race, finished in second place, after the definition of photo finish. Colombia's Salomé Vargas (01:45:55) and Chile's Alexandra Osorio won gold and bronze, respectively.

Meanwhile, López battled the 22.6 kilometers of the route alone to finish +31 behind the leader and win the bronze medal.

In this ranking, the Colombian José Posada took the highest honors with 28:07, followed by the Chilean Luciano Carrizo (+21).
