The Venezuelan under-17 men's national team began its journey in the South American Under-17 Championship in a doubtful way this Monday, giving up points to Bolivia, which drew a tie after overcoming the two-goal lead of the Chamos Vinotinto.
This match represented a golden opportunity to score points in an area where Brazil and Argentina are also located, next rivals for the Venezuelan team.
Vinotinto arrived in Paraguay with the mission of ratifying their growth in training categories, however, they couldn't beat the Bolivian national team that had just fallen 5-0 against Brazil in their debut.
The team led by Jhonny Ferreira could not repeat the victories against the Altiplanics in the 2023 and 2025 editions.
