The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted this Thursday the importance of relations with the People's Republic of China, where she is visiting to strengthen the ties of cooperation and the partnership at All Times and Every Test between the two countries.

During a telephone contact from Beijing with President Nicolás Maduro, in a new installment of Maduro Live de Repente, Rodríguez highlighted the signing of the binational financial energy conditions act.

“The engine of the cooperative relationship with China is based precisely on this agreement that was signed yesterday that will allow new energy and financial mechanisms, it is a mechanism that allows us to expand our field of action in cooperation in the different sectors that we can deepen, and most importantly defeat the criminal blockade imposed against Venezuela,” he said.

He explained that the delegations of Venezuela and China reviewed the 31 agreements that were signed last year, “which were added to the hundreds of agreements that we have added to our strategic relationship (...) we are continuing to make progress in the areas of energy, finance, electricity, scientific technology, military cooperation and agriculture.”

Rodríguez emphasized the role played by the relationship between China and Venezuela in international geopolitics, “as a strong union block to strengthen relations with the global South, the role played by the Group of Friends in Defense of the United Nations Charter against hegemonies, against unilateralism.”
