Vice President Delcy Rodriguez inaugurated school in Maracay chosen in popular consultation

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, led a day of delivery of works to the Municipal Power of the state of Aragua, which were chosen by the People during the days of consultation with the Community Circuits and which, in the case of the commune of Samán de Güere, directly benefits 426 children who will have a fully rehabilitated school.


“Thanks to the efficient management of resources, we can now have four classrooms, President Nicolás Maduro, it's really impressive and I would like you to be able to see the images of what they had before per school and what this educational unit is like now, which today will provide large and spacious spaces and amenities to 426 students,” said the vice-president.

He also highlighted that most of these students are children of people who came from Vargas when the landslide and the classes were given in their living room and in the yard, then they had a space that was lent to them by the communes and today, with all the resources of the popular consultations, the La Casona 2 Educational Unit is being inaugurated.

For her part, the governor of the entity, Joana Sánchez, highlighted that the Samán de Güere commune was the first commune to be born in the Santiago Mariño municipality, where today there are 29 communes and communal circuits, in a state of 191 communal circuits.

“In fact, the dream has been made possible through the popular consultation, it is extraordinary to feel the good vibes of our organized community, community councils, participating and activating, of course, prepared for the youth consultation and the constitutional elections that we have this weekend,” he added.
