The vice-president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Carlos Quintero, reported that so far more than 98% of polling stations have been opened across the country.
Through a telephone contact, he stressed that the technical incidents reported so far do not exceed 0.3%, a figure lower than the previous election in May, which showed 0.6%, this is due to the rapid response of the more than 65,000 technicians deployed nationwide.
“The electoral system has once again demonstrated its strength,” he emphasized.
He stressed that election day is taking place in total normality because the People are exercising their right to vote in peace. He also extended the invitation to citizens to continue participating in this democratic festival.
