Vice President Rodríguez asserted that whoever tries to pass drugs through Venezuela knows that he will be convicted and persecuted

The United States (USA) is the most important country in terms of drugs because of its links, as stated by the Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, at a press conference with national and international media this Monday.

“Venezuela is a country free of drug cultivation, it is not a country where drugs are stockpiled, nor is it a drug transit country because whoever tries to pass through here knows that they are going to be convicted and persecuted,” said the vice-president.

In this regard, he stressed that to date there have been more than 400 drug trafficking aircraft that have been shot down by Venezuelan security agencies.

“The GPS must go to the Pacific if they don't want cocaine to reach the United States of America, when we talk about the countries receiving cocaine and its mirror figure there is no Venezuela either,” Rodríguez added.

Likewise, he reiterated that the Venezuelan people and the Bolivarian militia have more than 25,000 troops, women and men in the military to protect the Binational Zone so that “drug trafficking has more pressure not to come to our territory, zero cocaine, zero amphetamine, zero methamphetamine, zero fentanyl heroin, neither is Venezuela.”

“Venezuela is not a relevant country in terms of international trafficking in illegal drugs, applause to our people and to our security agencies that constantly combat this terrible international crime of propaganda against Venezuela to criminalize the legitimate government,” stressed the executive vice president.
