At the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reaffirmed the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to guarantee free and quality education, supporting the return of 771 students to classes at the Francisco Isnardi Institute, located in Miranda state.
From this completely renovated school, Rodríguez highlighted that preschool, primary and secondary school students begin their new school year in decent spaces.
The vice-president stressed that the institute has 21 renovated classrooms, following a comprehensive reform ordered by President Nicolás Maduro on February 21. “The entire process of waterproofing, recovery of electrical and sanitary installations was carried out, and the retaining wall that was affecting the school was rebuilt. Anything is possible when there is political will,” he said.
He specified that in addition to classrooms, the institute has a cafeteria, library and laboratories for biology, physics, chemistry and computer science, guaranteeing access to technological and scientific tools for the integral development of students.
The vice-president also highlighted the activation of peace quadrants in the region and the active participation of the educational community in the recovery process. “What we are seeing here really shocks and excites, because it is the spirit of Venezuela that does not give up, that raises the flags of peace so that our children can enjoy and have a free, sovereign and independent homeland,” he said.
Finally, he announced that Expo Niño Simón, after welcoming more than 620,000 visitors to Caracas, begins its national tour of the states of Aragua and Carabobo, taking the legacy of the Liberator Simon Bolivar to every corner of the country. “We are fighting for the great homeland, for independence, for the historical morality that defines us as worthy Venezuelans,” he concluded.
