The Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, during her speech at the 81st Annual Assembly of FEDECÁMARAS, expanded on the meaning of economic dialogue with the productive sectors of Venezuela, the National Economic Council and the impact they have had on economic policies in the country's recovery process in the different sectors.
“There are wounds from the economic blockade but there is a plan, we can say that today there is a positive balance thanks to articulated politics,” Rodríguez said.
Common points:
A first consensus would be the gap left by the blockade with the space for approach and dialogue to resolve differences, differences that we talk about, with common points
The second is the condemnation of the blockade. “We have just taken an important step with Colombia for the binational creation of peace, integration and economic development, the agreement seeks to correct existing imbalances, seeks to receive investments”
“We must leave governments articulated with mafias that had closed borders, we need a border that flows for contact between peoples. We have taken that first strategic step,” he said. The illegitimate blockade must end. Today, oil production has increased thanks to workers and alliances.
The third essential point is the defense of peace, not violence or extremism. Peace and quiet must prevail, that is the way. We must take care of this space of peace, also in a world situation where peace is threatened. We must care for and love peace.
And as part of the fourth point, the vice-representative referred to the fact that in the last two years, 42 high-level meetings have been held between businessmen and the upper government. “Unity is essential and with economic sectors it is essential to move forward.”
