This Tuesday, December 03, the Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that the National Budget for the year 2025 amounts to 906,459 million 117,540 bolivars, equivalent to 22,661 million 477,939 dollars, to continue advancing the livelihood of the Venezuelan family.

In this regard, during the special session in the National Assembly (AN), he noted that of this amount, 77.6% is directed to “social investment, social development, participation in the Essequibo, in culture and communication, in science and technology, in infrastructure and public works, in education, health, housing, security and in the interterritorial compensation fund”.

He also indicated that of the expenditure item, 41% is directed to the attention of working people and to the Homeland Protection System, which accounts for 24%, so he assured that the National Budget demonstrates many things, among which the deepening of social care and the “condition of victorious resistance” of the Venezuelan economy in conditions of adversity, economic suffocation, economic aggression against workers and women workers in the country, against productive processes, preventing and financially suffocating Venezuela from accessing international financial markets”.

He stressed that, despite these adverse conditions, “today Venezuela is one of the countries or is the country that grew the most in South America and in Latin America and is also projected for the year 2025.”
