Vice President Rodríguez: We are oiling our machinery heading to July 28 and it's going very well

This Sunday, June 30, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, assured that Venezuela's plan is to vote in democracy, in peace and in tranquility.

Rodríguez maintained that all the structures of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Community Councils, Communes, Social Movements, are exercising their right to participation and social life, “so full confidence for next July 28, we are oil our machinery and it's going very well”

“We are happy to see how our machinery is working, massive participation of the Venezuelan people,” said the Vice President, after participating in the 2024 Presidential Election Simulation.

He also recalled that President Nicolás Maduro has been very clear, he will not allow extremists to swallow the light, “if they make mistakes, justice will be applied, and those who want to attack peace, harm the electoral process and tarnish this electoral holiday will be severely punished.”

“We know that the extreme right plan is violence, they have sabotaged the electrical system, they have caused suffering the Venezuelan people, they have had plans to tear down bridges to cause a national catastrophe,” said the Vice President.

In that sense, he argued that the best way to protect peace and tranquility is to go out and vote, “so that we can work, exercise our social, political and cultural rights and take care of our future.”

He confirmed that Venezuelans have a perfect, shielded electoral system, “the voter knows that his vote is taken care of, that every fingerprint is a vote.”

“The international guests will not only be witnesses of the democratic festival that is being experienced in Venezuela, but also witnesses of the veracity and armor of our electoral system,” he said.
