Víctor Clark: We carried out rescue work for 15 people in the collapsed Mar Suites Residential Complex

The governor of the state of Falcón, Víctor Clark, stressed that all Security Agencies, Fire Department, rescue and Civil Protection teams are active in the entity, as well as all levels of the national, regional and municipal government.

“We are carrying out the rescue work of 15 adults. Others have been treated that were rescued from the rubble,” he said.

This was stated by Hospital Dr. Lino Arévalo, in telephone contact with Venezolana de Televisión, when it provided an assessment of the earthquake that occurred in Venezuela on June 24, which affected several states of the country and Caracas.

In a first report , Clark reported that at the Dr. Lino Arévalo Hospital, about 35 people have been treated for emergencies, of whom 22 people are hospitalized, since they are critical cases and 15 people are being rescued in the La Mar Suites Residential Complex, in the parish of Tucacas, which collapsed due to the earthquake.

“It was the infrastructure that suffered the most damage,” he said, adding that he continues the journey monitoring the affected areas.
