The Sectorial Vice President of Public Security and Peace, Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, representing the Venezuelan State, held a meeting with Tran Luu Quang, Vice Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, to reaffirm the importance of brotherhood between the two nations.

From the Yellow House, in the city of Caracas, during the diplomatic meeting, new avenues of cooperation and exchange were established in the fight against transnational organized crime, cybercrime, illegal immigration, drug trafficking, human trafficking, among others.

“This approach table allows us to establish lines of action against transnational crimes, as well as crime prevention, in addition to reviewing treaty issues and evaluating new actions to strengthen criminal investigation in the country,” said A/J. Remigio Ceballos.

In the same way, representatives of both nations agreed to exchange training for police officers, forensic integration and equipment of the National Risk Management System.

It should be noted that these actions are part of the Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy, led by the head of state, Nicolás Maduro, to continue to promote the historic struggle of peoples for their sovereignty, peace and productive self-sufficiency.
