The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela and Central Coordinator of the Venezuela Our 21st Century Campaign Command, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, marched with the People in the great mobilizations that took place in Zulia and Caracas at the start of the campaign for the great victory of the candidate of Homeland and Peace, President Nicolás Maduro.

When approached by the media while marching surrounded by the people of Caracas who, between slogans and songs, confirmed their commitment to the victory of the revolutionary candidate, Cabello pointed out that:

• “Early on we were with the candidate of the Bolivarian Revolution, Nicolás Maduro, in the state of Zulia, in the municipality of San Francisco, where there was an extraordinary march, with the Zulian warmth of that land and its people, then we went to Petare, in Miranda, with the motorized vehicles from the east of Caracas to Miraflores, which is where the people have always been since Commander Chávez arrived, and now, with Nicolás Maduro, that people are always present in the Miraflores Palace”.
• “The People took to the streets and you see the demonstration of joy, enthusiasm, a lot of passion, a lot of fervor, but also the genuine conviction of that people's commitment to the Fatherland on July 28 to achieve a great victory in peace.”

He also highlighted recent information about the interest of the United States in re-establishing dialogue with the Government of Venezuela and maintained that: 

•  “Nobody meets the one who leaves, the one who leaves left, they meet with Nicolás because they know that Nicolás is going to stay and that is a very clear message, the opposition knows it, the gringos know it, they know it in Europe and the world knows it, on the 28th the People wins with Nicolás, that meeting is the preamble to what is coming”.
