This Tuesday, May 28, the deputy to the National Assembly for the faction of the Fatherland Bloc, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, led the solemn session of the legislative council of the state of Lara for the birth of the eponymous hero Jacinto Lara, a distinguished Venezuelan who fought for the independence of the Fatherland.

Regarding the eponymous hero Jacinto Lara, he said:

  • “The history of Venezuela revolves a lot around Jacinto Lara (...). The eponymous heroes of the states, if anyone represents the people of this beautiful state, it's Jacinto Lara.”
  • “When you talk about those loyal to Bolívar, we are left with (Rafael) Urdaneta, with (Antonio José) Sucre and we leave out extraordinary people who professed extraordinary loyalty to Father Bolivar and Jacinto Lara, without a doubt, is one of them.”
  • We must spread the life and history of this exceptional Venezuelan, Jacinto Lara, as well as that of other heroes of our country to other parts of the country.
  • “He fought under the command of Miranda, Bolívar, Sucre, Urdaneta, Ribas, Páez, Mariño and Piar, hardly any other Venezuelan has had the opportunity to fight and fight in the War of Independence under the command of these giants, there was Jacinto Lara and not he let none of them down.”
  • “He fought for the Revolution of the Independence of Venezuela and that has led us to these times of revolution.”
  • “Neither Sucre , Urdaneta nor Jacinto Lara nor Anzoátegui nor Miranda , to name a few, went to a war of independence to make that happen; the The New York Pact ended up being signed by a man named Rockefeller, I'm sure that none of them fought against the most powerful imperialism of that time, which was the Spanish empire, only to be essentially betrayed 200 years later.”
  • To Jacinto Lara , “I have no doubt of putting him at the same level as Sucre , Anzoátegui , Urdaneta like those loyal to Father Bolivar, because of his career and the way in which his life is developed in order to fight for their Fatherland”.

The also first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) reaffirmed the importance of loyalty and what it means; as well as emphasized that the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, despite the attacks, has always remained close to the people.

    • “Today the value of loyalty is not an individual value, it's a collective value. This undoubtedly speaks of a revolution, of a real revolution”.
    • During the years of the Covid-19 pandemic, while the right wing was asking imperialism to sanction Venezuela, President Nicolás Maduro embraced the people.
    • “That was a show of loyalty at the highest level, no one can deny that. Right now we are in a time of boosting loyalty, of fighting, of persevering and I am sure that this people will never give up.”
    • “A series of opinions were woven and given about Venezuela, which was going to be the center of a health chaos, everything was calculated. A pandemic, a blocked and sanctioned country, that country could not bring the medicines to deal with the pandemic, to treat those who were somehow infected by COVID and there we have to lift the figure of our president Nicolás Maduro”.
    •  “He began to move around the world to bring medicines to Venezuela first. Forgive me for saying it, I am alive thanks to Nicolás and I am sure that more than one is alive thanks to Nicolás who brought the medicines, of course to Nicolás who made that great effort, to the prayers of the peoples, to our Virgin of the Shepherdess who never leaves us, true, to the desire to live”.

He also called on the People not to allow the haters of the Homeland to impose their violence on the country, today when Venezuela is rising up with its own efforts.

    • “Two hundred years later, this people have been fighting and none of them lay down in a chinchorro to wait to see what happens; no, today Venezuela is rising up with its own efforts, we don't owe this to anyone and to a Government that has been there in the battle.”
    • The United States began to attack when they realized that Venezuela became a social and economic example for the world, driven by the Bolivarian Revolution.

      • “They attacked us, they went so far as to say that this model is an unusual and extraordinary threat, a model of a small country that was achieving the greatest amount of happiness possible”
      • “We must stand up today, patriots, because the threats of imperialism will not cease for a single day; imperialism does not play elections”
      • “They want the riches of our country, the European Union (EU), the United States (USA), and those who listen to the advice and requests of those who have requested invasions and have asked for foreign forces to come to our country.”
      • “The day that a soldier, gringo agent, imperialist from anywhere sets foot in Venezuela, those who have called for sanctions and blockades will be immediately declared enemies of the Homeland.”
      • “Fascism is neither negotiated nor barred; fascism must be defeated in any scenario that presents itself.”
      • “That's what they want for Venezuela but they're not going to have it here. They signed agreements and called for Israel to invade the country. They can do what they want, but those who are asking for invasions are not going to find them.”
      • “Let's not rest for a day, let's not give the enemies of the Fatherland space to move forward, let's not allow fascism to occupy any place in Venezuela.”
      • “Patriots love their country, they will never hear a true patriot ask for military intervention against their country, they will never hear a true or true patriot ask for sanctions or blockades against their own country, ask for persecution just because of the ambition to power.”

In the same way, in the face of the presidential elections of July 28, he highlighted the following:

      • “They are prepared to do what they always do, every time there are elections, to say that they were cheated just because they don't have votes.”
      • “You will be left wanting because this July 28th the People will go out to vote in peace and we are going to dedicate it to Chávez, who is turning 70, and to Jacinto Lara, who was born on the 28th but in May, the 28th at last”
      • “We are betting that the people express their will. Quite a lot, Chávez set that route, choice after election after election.”
      • “There will be elections on the 28th, they were giving these days and they were going to suspend the elections, scared, there will be elections here and there will be a great popular victory on July 28. I have no doubt about that, no doubt. They're going to try violence and we're going to stop them in time, rest assured that we're going to stop them in time, they don't deserve another drop of blood from a Venezuelan or a Venezuelan.”

People mobilized for a secure victory

After participating in this event, Cabello went to the Santa Ana sector of the city of Barquisimeto where he marched with the people who mobilized in this town of Larense to express their support for President Nicolás Maduro and ratify their rejection of the criminal sanctions of imperialism against the country.

During his speech, he pointed out the importance of the massification of information as a formula to combat the blockade that has been imposed against the president and candidate of the People, Nicolás Maduro, in large media and social networks at the service of imperialism, and therefore invited:

      • “It's everyone's job to communicate. It's so important that today it's a war that we have called a communication war.”
      • “Let's be able to transmit everything we do, if we all send the photo, if we all send the information, they have nothing left but to show the truth about Venezuela. We have to do it because no one is going to do it for us.”

He then highlighted the battles that President Maduro has fought to guarantee the protection of the people against the incessant attacks of imperialism and its internal lackeys, recalling that:

      • “President Nicolás Maduro has always been with the People in good times and in bad times, what's more, in bad times he has never abandoned this people and has defeated imperialism and its lackeys here in the opposition in every instance where they have tried to attack our people and our country.”
      • Nicolás Maduro is a winner of peace, of dialogue; he is the world champion of dialogue!”
      • “The right wing presents itself with pure patarucos, puppets, manipulable, weak, without character, they depend on orders given to them from abroad; while Nicolás Maduro is an independent president, he is a sovereign president, he is a strong president, he is not weak, he is not manipulable.”
      • “They're not going to come here to give orders to Nicolás Maduro (...) because they know they're going to find a patriot who will defend the people and will defend the Bolivarian Revolution.”
      • Nicolás Maduro has been on the street, we see Nicolás Maduro walking with the students, walking with the youth. We see him walking with the workers today and tomorrow we see him in a factory and the day after tomorrow at a march with the family and he is dancing with his grandparents, greeting them embracing them”.
      • Nicolás Maduro looks like us, he looks like the People, he belongs to the people, he doesn't have to wear disguise to be a People because Nicolás comes from the People, he comes from the bottom fighting.”

      • “There is no shame and now they are going to the people to ask for their vote. They (the last names) have called for sanctions, blockade, tried to assassinate President Nicolás Maduro, they have no morals!
      • “There are people who get confused and let themselves be carried away by the information and opinion matrices that they intentionally generate to harm the Bolivarian Revolution, those people have to knock on the door.”
      • “You put them in a jar, those in a blender, and you beat them and you lose the jar, that jar is useless. These are contaminated people, they don't love the Homeland.”

In this regard, he reiterated his call for all the revolutionary people to come and vote for Nicolás Maduro and stressed the importance of organizing through the 1x10 to guarantee a resounding victory.

      • “On July 28, prepared with our list, our 1x10, checked, revised, with the women in charge who are in charge of the house, and you are going to say Raimundo and everyone votes here, Villegas everyone who arrives, Raquel and everyone else, that is, no one is left here without voting, least of all in the house of a revolutionary and revolutionary”.
