William Lin: The energy company British Petroleum opened an office in Caracas

The
executive vice president of Gas and Low Carbon Energy, William Lin, in the context of the signing of a memorandum
of understanding with the energy company British Petroleum
(BP) with Venezuela, announced that they will open a permanent office in Caracas.
“Having a
presence in Venezuela will allow us to solidify our relationship,” Lin said
.
He also said he was
very happy to be partners and to be able to help Venezuela develop and
grow together.
“We know
that there is still a lot of gas in the Deltana platform and we are excited
to work together with the Venezuelan government to develop those
capacities. We have a lot of marketing capabilities, not only for
gas, but for hydrocarbons, and we want and know that we can
also help Venezuela in the development of these fields,” he said.
Lin thanked the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez for her continued support and in her previous positions and in this one as well. “We know that we have a good path to develop and work together in the future, thank you very much,” he said.
