Winners of the “Teresa de la Parra” Competition were awarded at the FILVEN Yaracuy

As part of the programming of the 21st Venezuelan International Book Fair (FILVEN) Yaracuy chapter, the National Book Center (CENAL) awarded certificates to students who won the 1st Teresa de la Parra National Youth Literature Competition, an initiative that seeks to promote writing and creativity among young people in the country.

During the event, Ana Beatriz Rosa Dávila was recognized, who won first place in the entity with her work “To Book Lovers”, in the Letter category. María de los Ángeles Hernández was also awarded for her text “Letter to Venezuela, my country!” , reports the Ministry for Culture.

In the Short Stories category, Rihanna A. Mora Hernández, with “ Ignorance or Wisdom”, and Daniela Alejandra Rivero García, with “The Disordered Garden”, were awarded.

During the day, José Luis Vásquez Silva was also awarded his certificate as a member of the first cohort of the Venezuelan Narrative Time diploma course, who highlighted the training received by CENAL and the Venezuelan Storytelling Workshop School (ESTANAVE), after years of experience in writing.
