The National Cinematheque will inaugurate this
Friday, June 26th, the Cinematheque Night, a series of thematic events that
takes a film as a starting point to transform the
traditional experience of going to the movies into a multisensory party that combines cinema, music
and performance inside and outside the screening room.
The event, which will now take place starting
the last Friday of each at the Museum of Fine Arts (MBA), will start at
6:00 p.m., with two hours of film and will continue with three hours of simultaneous artistic
activations distributed between the Cinemateca lobby and the room itself.
According to information from the Ministry
for Culture, the event will feature music,
live performance, cuisine, cocktails and more, until midnight.
In the framework of its 60th anniversary, the National
Cinematheque incorporates these meetings into its programming hand in hand with national cultural
movements, with the aim of turning cinema into an
experience to share and enhance the value of the film as a work of
art that does not remain on the screen, but that communicates with other disciplines and
is transformed into a living, playful and moving experience.
The tickets have a value of Bs. 1,800 and will be on sale online through the payment link located in the Instagram biography of the National Cinemateca (@cinematecanacional_ve). As capacity is limited, it is recommended to purchase tickets in advance.
