With Plan Cayapa, the government of Aragua cleans the Hermanos Ghersi Páez Olympic Stadium

The Regional Sports Institute of Aragua (IRDA) is developing the Cayapa Plan for cleaning and rehabilitation in sports facilities in the region, this time addressing the Hermanos Ghersi Páez Olympic Stadium and the Julián Landaeta Robles Sports Complex.

The work, led by the IRDA in collaboration with the institutions of SEPURMAR AND FUNDAARAGUA, has included extensive cleaning and removal of solid waste. Additionally, the rehabilitation of internal areas has begun, including painting, improvements to dressing rooms, air conditioners, internal and external panels.

Carlos España, president of IRDA and vice-president of Aragua FC, stressed that this is only the first phase of the project. “We plan to improve lighting so that our athletes can take advantage of night hours and continue developing the sport,” said Spain, anticipating plans for a second phase.

In line with Governor Sánchez's guidelines, Spain also noted the importance of collaboration with private companies to advance the recovery of Aragua FC.
