Work on the rehabilitation of trunk 5 is 88% complete in Portuguesa

Work to rehabilitate trunk 5 that connects Araure with Guanare, in the Portuguese state, has achieved 88% progress, the transport ministry said.

Through a publication on its Telegram channel, the ministerial portfolio explained that the works are concentrated on the Bomba Páez II sector and consist of the installation of 285 tons of asphalt.

“A key intervention to reduce travel times, providing a much more comfortable journey for drivers who travel daily between the two municipalities,” the said message details.
