Works on the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho highway enter their final phase 95% complete

Work to correct the edge fault at kilometer 71 of the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Highway, in Miranda state, entered its closure phase after achieving 95% technical progress. The team of engineers and workers deployed in the Aragüita parish is currently executing the latest requirements of this important infrastructure project, which will restore stability and safety to this busy section of the road artery.

As a fundamental part of the project, the technical staff has already completed the construction of an anchored concrete screen of 175 square meters. This sturdy containment structure was reinforced and secured through the installation of 15 deep anchors and a specialized tensioning system, designed to consolidate the terrain and prevent future land movements that would jeopardize the road.

The crews concentrate all their efforts on the maneuvers of filling and compacting the base of the road in the recovered area. These preparatory tasks will leave the terrain in optimal mechanical condition to proceed immediately with the installation of the final asphalt carpet, a step that will mark the formal completion of the project and will allow for the full restoration of traffic flow in the area.
