XI Orlando Araujo Literature Biennial extends call until October 15

The Ministry of Popular Power for Culture (MPPC), through the National Book Center (CENAL), extends the call until October 15 to participate in the Short Narrative contest of the XI National Biennial of Literature Orlando Araujo.

The subject is free and Venezuelan and foreign writers residing in Venezuela can participate.

The author of the winning work will receive a certificate and a prize of one hundred thousand (Bs. 100,000.00), awarded by CENAL, and the publication of the book by Monte Ávila Editores (printed and digital).

Participating works will be received only by email: [email protected] and the rules are available on the following website: http://www.cenal.gob.ve.

The XI Orlando Araujo Biennial, together with six other national literature biennials also organized by the MPPC for 2024, is part of the Bolivarian Government's cultural policies aimed at encouraging the development of new authors.
