Yaracuy: 75 patients from different municipalities benefited from the Surgical Plan

A total of 75 patients from various municipalities in the state of Yaracuy benefited in five days carried out through the Pueblo Sano Foundation and the National Surgical Plan.

The information was released in a publication in the newspaper Último Noticias, in which it was detailed that the president of the foundation, Marilyn Velásquez, stressed that only on Saturday, 10 trauma patients were treated at the Plácido Daniel Rodríguez Rivero Central Hospital in San Felipe.

While at the Children's Hospital Niño Jesús, nine patients underwent surgery in the specialty of general surgery and in the specialty of otorhinolaryngology for 10.

In the Independencia municipality, 20 patients who underwent cataract surgery were treated at the Yaracuy Ophthalmological Unit.

On Sunday, two surgical days were held; one at the Central Hospital with the resolution of nine cases of traumatology, and another at the Yaracuy Ophthalmology Unit with 18 cataract patients.
