Venezuelan Yosmairy Lara won the gold medal in Wushu women's Sanda category -60 kg, at the 2024 Ayacucho Bicentennial Bolivarian Games, which are being held in Peru.
The Venezuelan was accompanied on the podium by the Peruvian Shirley Llontop (Silver) and the Ecuadorian Emilia Veliz (Bronze).
This is the ninth gold medal for Venezuela in the competition.
