Young Guariqueñas are recognized in FILVEN by a national literary contest

Within the framework of the 21st Venezuelan International Book Fair (FILVEN) in Guárico, young people from the entity were recognized after winning the 1st National Youth Literature Competition “Teresa de la Parra”, promoted by the National Book Center (CENAL).

The contest, aimed at high school students, highlighted the participation of new literary talents, including Luisandra Tadermo, Nehoriangela Gabriela Vicuña Martínez, Solismar Daniela Álvarez Campos and J ulieth Fernández Bravo in the Short Stories category, as well as Elimar Andreína Ascanio in Letters.

During the activity, Ascanio called on other young people to get involved in this type of initiative and to promote writing as a tool for expression.

Currently, CENAL is keeping the call open for the second edition of the competition, aimed at middle school students across the country.
