Youth from the Delta Amacuro Neighborhood participated in the Training Camp

In order to encourage training among young people in the Delta Amacuro state neighborhood, a training and recreational camp was held to publicize the plans and programs implemented by the “Antonio Cermeño” Neighborhood Youth Foundation (Fjdb), attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Communes and Social Movements (MinComunas), where they received tools in various areas such as health, education and entrepreneurship.
More than 40 young people participated in the open spaces of the Francisco Tamayo Territorial University, located in Tucupita, where the director of Fjdb in this entity, Ramona Rivas, welcomed the camp and detailed each program. “Every young person who participates is essential to create political awareness in boys and the importance of actively joining the Community Councils and Communes in their territories.”
For his part, the socio-productive coordinator, Jesús Mora, offered knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship and explained the “Cuadra tu Chamba” program that is implemented by the Fjdb and its importance in the local economy.
María Rivas, trainer of the Neighborhood Youth Movement, explained the origin of social movements in the entity and led a talk on the importance of young people's health in terms of sex education, for the prevention of diseases and pregnancies at an early age using the correct use of contraceptive methods.
The head of the Activa tu Barrio program in the Deltana entity, Junior Torres, said that they organized recreational and sports activities, “such as soccer and volleyball trails, where young people participated in the open air, which allowed them to integrate and have fun.”
The Neighborhood Youth Movement promotes and promotes lifelong learning and healthy coexistence, because they promote and support young people to study, work and recreate themselves in a Venezuela that belongs to everyone.
