Youth Minister Lotartaro: Youth are making history!

This Sunday, Sergio Lotartaro, Minister of Popular Power for Youth, highlighted in statements to Venezolana de Televisión (VTV) that the municipal campaign and for the popular consultation of youth was very colorful and today is materialized through mobilization.

“This mobilization that we have seen in the electoral centers shows the work we have had in all these months of the electoral campaign. Today, from a very early age, young people joined the electoral centers making history because a popular consultation for youth had never been held in our country, so it represents a historic milestone”, stressed the minister.

Likewise, Lotartaro assured that in other countries of the world, young people are not given the important character to participate in democratic processes, to dream of the community they want and to decide.

“Hopefully the example of Venezuela will be taken around the world... We call on all the youth who have not joined the vote... Still time to choose those projects!” , he said.

Lotartaro said that the Venezuelan family has been committed to supporting youth for development and “the president has told us that he finances the first project, there are mayors and governors who finance the second and he also told us that there is a contest of the 10 projects with the most participation and this represents a great transformation in communities.”
