Yván Gil about April 30: The date will be engraved as an emblematic triumph of revolutionary unity

On April 30, the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, highlighted the civic-military union that seven years ago defeated the extreme right in an attempted coup d'etat, against President Nicolás Maduro.

Through his Telegram channel, he noted that this date “will remain engraved in history as an emblematic triumph of revolutionary unity and the patriotic fervor of an entire people.”

“In the early morning of April 30, 2019, the right wing, through “Operation Freedom” led by Leolpodo López and Juan Guaidó, together with a few soldiers, tried to overthrow the Bolivarian Revolution; however, the coup action was crushed by the People and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, ” Con El Mazo Dando reported.
