President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on his Western allies to allow Ukraine to use long-range missiles to attack the Russian Federation and increase pressure.

“We need to have this long-range capability, not only in the divided territory of Ukraine, but also in Russian territory, so that Russia is motivated to seek peace,” Zelenskyy said this Friday during a meeting of the Ukrainian Defense Contact Group (UDCG) at the German airbase in Ramstein.

The United States (US) pledged an additional 250 million dollars in military aid to Ukraine, which was announced by the Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, at the meeting of the UDCG, also informally known as the Ramstein group.
