Zodi commanders provided details of the achievements achieved over the weekend

The sectoral vice-president of Defense and Sovereignty, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, during the balance of Plan Bolívar 2000, established contact with the commanders at the national level to learn in detail the achievements achieved over the weekend for the defense of the nation.

The Joint Director of the Special Forces of the Strategic Operational Command, in the state of Zulia, Julmer Ochoa, provided an assessment in the context of Operation Independence 200, in the Binational Zone of Peace No. 1, to detail that more than 25,000 personnel are deployed to carry out military operations in the fight against TANCOL groups.

For his part, the Joint Personnel Director of the Strategic Operational Command, in Apure state, V/A Pedro Alemán de Lima, reported that river patrols are being carried out to search for enemy actions, which has allowed more than 285 miles navigated with the destruction of seven TANCOL cambuches, used for the logistics and processing of illegal substances.

For his part, the commander of ZODI Zulia, G/D Javier Enrique Magallanes, indicated that they then carried out patrolling, exploration and reconnaissance tasks; he also stated that a surveillance and control region was activated to detect any air threat.
