The sector vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, invited private airlines operating in the country this Tuesday to serve the flights required by the state of Zulia.

From Cabimas, during the second phase of the National Pilgrimage for a Venezuela without Sanctions, Cabello recalled the repair of the runway at Oro Negro Airport by the National Executive.

“I landed and said that I would rather land on a road, as the runway was (...) And I told President Nicolás Maduro and we fixed the runway, but now the runway needs flights to come here. A flight from Caracas and the people here can leave without any problem,” he said.

In this regard, he said: “We invite private companies because CONVIASA cannot serve everything, but there are private companies that could handle flights from here and we are joining in,” he said.
