The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed that within the framework of the second phase of the National Pilgrimage, today Venezuela is united by the issue of sanctions and peace for the country, regardless of the political positions that may exist.
In this regard, from Cabimas,
Zulia state, she recalled that the call for the National Pilgrimage made by
the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, was born out of the various sectors that asked her to go all over Venezuela to listen to all Venezuelans.
“This is cross-cutting across the entire
Venezuelan population, the issue of sanctions, the blockade affects everyone in Venezuela; the
story is that it only affects government leaders who are blocked, that
's not true, that just totally falls away,” he said, recalling that families were
divided by the unilateral coercive measures they applied to Venezuela.
He also said that another issue that unites all Venezuelans is “that we want to live in peace, everyone here wants to have peace of mind in their house, that they can go out, that they can produce that they can have fun and that their children can study.”
