The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, issued a strong warning this Tuesday to criminal groups that operate on the border with Colombia, and generate terror among the local population.

“It's not fair that criminal groups want to take Colombia's border with Venezuela. And here we are going to kick them out, whatever they are called, but the territory of Venezuela is respected and the territory of Zulia is respected,” he said during the second phase of the National Pilgrimage for a Venezuela without Sanctions, in Cabimas.

Cabello emphasized that these groups will not enter Venezuelan territory to commit their crimes, “because we don't have to pay for the war in Colombia, it's an 80-year historic conflict,” he criticized.

“Don't declare war on us because no criminal group , whatever their name is, whatever form they want to take, there is our Bolivarian National Armed Force, they have the instructions that have been given to them, deployed, working tirelessly every single day, the police forces,” he said.
