The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security
and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted on Monday the economic growth that Venezuela, specifically the state of Zulia,
has registered despite the
economic war and the unilateral sanctions against the country.
During a tour of the Pollos Vilva company, as
part of the National Pilgrimage for a Venezuela without Sanctions and in Peace,
Cabello highlighted that many companies have opened and reopened in the Western entity in the last year.
“We came a year ago to close the campaign, but I saw a
number of closed stores in Maracaibo that today I didn't see them, on the contrary. And you
know that you can tell by the colors in the ads. When you see
a bright color, which is because the announcement is new, it hasn't hit the sun and
here in Zulia it gets even sun so that in three months it loses its colors.
So a lot of bright colors, a lot of companies that are opening
or reopening,” he said.
He pointed out that sanctions have hit hard “because the
flow of money to grant loans is not what we need”, but
despite that “the economy has been pushing and growing”.
