To continue with the second phase of the
National Pilgrimage for a Venezuela without Sanctions and in Peace, this Monday, the
sectoral vice-president for politics, citizen security and peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón,
toured the facilities of the mining company CARBOZULIA, responsible for
extracting, producing, transporting and commercializing high-quality mineral coal in the west of the country.
During the visit, Cabello stressed that this company “has
been rising up in the midst of difficulties, in the midst of problems (...)
increasing its production, increasing its exports, but also
placing emphasis on the environmental issue, which is one of the biggest concerns that
coal carries with it”.
In this regard, he highlighted the obligation of the State and
companies that exploit coal to ensure that environmental liabilities “have the least
impact on the population and on the environment”, for which he praised the
new CARBOZULIA systems “to bring material to ships through
special bands”, which materialize workers with their experience, will and love.
“I am sure that it is a model company on the subject of coal in the world, because the issue of coal in the world has been pointed out, especially its industrial use. But from here we tell those who buy us coal to take their measures to make the world healthier if they use coal,” he stressed.
