ZULIA - SANTA RITA/Diosdado Cabello: Everything must revolve around the commune

The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said that all actions must revolve around communes.

This was stated as part of his tour of the state of Zulia at the beginning of the second phase of the Great National Pilgrimage, at a communal meeting held in Muelle Palmajero, from where he recalled the birth of the communal councils in Miranda in 2006 and the lack of faith that the people had in him because of the old structure that existed called neighborhood associations.

“Nowadays, what continues to gain strength is popular power and communes, Comuna or Nada, and that means that everything must revolve around the commune because without it nothing exists. We're talking about education, health, for example,” he said.

He said that when you hear people “asking for their community you say this is the way to go, and when they are young you are happier because that means that the work of so many years was not lost, but that it was sown in fertile soil”.
