Afghan officials reported that at least 10 people died and three others are missing after heavy rains in the southern province of Zabul.


In this regard, they specified that the areas of Shinkay and Qalat, the capital, are the most affected because a woman and three children were registered among the dead, in addition to another injured person.


In addition, the natural phenomenon caused material damage to crops, residential homes and livestock.


In July, storms and floods killed more than 40 people, in addition to leaving 350 injured, in the eastern province of Nangarhar, according to the Xinhua website.
