96 families from Caracas and La Guaira affected by the earthquake were transferred to Cumaná

A total of 96 families from Caracas and La Guaira, affected by the earthquakes of last June 24, were transferred to Cumaná, Sucre state, to receive comprehensive care and reconnect with re-certified relatives in this town.

This was reported by the governor of that eastern entity, Jhoanna Carrillo, who indicated that from her office, working together with the mayors and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), they have taken steps to provide psychological and medical care and even provide equipment to these people who lost their homes.

Similarly, in statements collected by the FANB television channel, Carrillo indicated that a total of 693 rescue technicians, firefighters and civil protection personnel have traveled from Sucre to the central coast to help with the search and rescue of people who are still under the rubble.

In this regard, he stressed that these experts were mobilized with all the necessary implements to help with the rescue efforts in La Guaira and Caracas.
