ABAM proposes Venezuela to host the next series of Las Américas

The Association of Baseball Leagues of the Americas (ABAM) invited Venezuela to organize the third edition of the Series of the Americas in 2027. The announcement was made recently by the president of ABAM, Ajax Delgado, after concluding the organization's general assembly, which was held in La Rinconada, Caracas.

“We invite the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) to host in 2027, in which we hope there will be more than seven participating countries. We have defined the venues for the next three tournaments, but with the experience we have had, we consider the possibility of it being Venezuela if they accept,” Delgado explained.

In this regard, the association's outgoing president, David Salayandía, congratulated Venezuela's organization of the tournament, while expressing his trust in the LVBP to develop the Americas Series.
