A group of demonstrators occupied the Hulme Arch Bridge in Manchester to denounce the responsibility of the United Kingdom in the supply of military components used by Israel and to call for the total suspension of these exports.

The participants emphasized that, despite reports from international organizations about possible war crimes, the British Government continues to sell parts intended for F-35 aircraft, used in operations in Gaza.

Although London has suspended some 30 licenses, it has maintained those related to this program, considering it part of a global network that cannot be interrupted.

The collective stated that its action is aimed at exerting pressure to achieve a total embargo and explained that its strategy of “economic disruption” seeks to increase the political and social cost of continuing the arms trade.
