Diosdado Cabello: We raise both hands wherever freedom of expression needs to be defended

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, confirmed this Monday that the Bolivarian Revolution has always raised flags in defense of freedom of expression.

During the usual weekly press conference of the red tilda, Cabello stressed that the Venezuelan opposition has a guarantee of freedom of expression, “but it doesn't suit them. How have we discovered traps, lies, thefts from them thanks to freedom of expression? The fights they have thanks to freedom of expression,” he said.

He reiterated that since the revolutionary process “we applaud freedom of expression and we raise both hands wherever it is necessary to defend freedom of expression (...) it is a right, the right to be well informed, truthful information”.
