The strengthening of the productive capacities that the state of Barinas has is one of the lines of action that stand out in the government plan presented by the candidate for the governor of that entity for the Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar (GPPSB), Adan Chávez.

During the presentation of his government program, Chávez assured that it contemplates the promotion of programs that allow the productive development of both the livestock and agricultural sectors.

In this regard, he explained that these plans will seek to strengthen and expand the animal herd, thus boosting the production of items such as corn, cotton, cocoa, coffee, among others.

In the same way, he assured that, if elected on May 25, he will make progress in the reactivation of plants for processing milk, cheese, cassava and other items that are inoperative in the entity.

He also referred to agricultural roads and assured that they will work so that the next period of rain (2026) will be fully recovered.

In terms of health, he noted that the plan contemplates strengthening the primary care network, as well as the recovery of health centers.

“In terms of security, we are going to review and improve everything that needs to be improved to ensure the proper functioning of the peace quadrants. This needs to be updated, I'm sure there's something to improve,” he said, while stressing that work will be done to ensure joint work between the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) and the state police.
